Before You Arrive

Alternatively, you can plan your journey by public transport by using www.transportdirect.info; simply enter your postcode and ours, which is WR9 0NL. The nearest railway stations are Kidderminster, Bromsgrove and Droitwich all of which are around 5 miles away. If you require an accessible taxi this would need to be booked separately in advance, please see our contact details for further information. Enquiries can be made online, by phone or in person.

Car parking and Arrival

There are car parking spaces available a short distance from the barn’s entrance’s. Immediately in front of each barn and approximately 10 metres from the front doors. The barns can both be accessed by means of a short flat pathway. If booked in advance we can provide assistance on your arrival with luggage. The car park and paths are all at one level; well-lit and within fully landscaped gardens and within a secure gated car park area.

Accommodation

There are 2 bedrooms suitable for guests with disabilities., one bedroom in each property which are the ground floor, a large super-king in the Parlour and a 3/4 quality sofa-bed in the Stables. While neither his fully DDA compliant they can be set up with space to accommodate a wheelchair, they and they are spacious. Both these rooms have access to an adjacent downstairs spacious wet-room with shower over. Additionally, there are lever taps on the washbasin and 800cm doors to enable wheelchair access.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are bright and evenly lit by overhead lighting and bedside lighting. Bathrooms are lit with an overhead light and fluorescent light over the mirror. We are happy to provide additional light if required. Bedroom flooring is short pile carpet. All bathroom floors are tiled. Rubber anti-slip bath mats are provided in the bathrooms. Lounge and Kitchen areas are engineered oak in the Parlour and tiled in the Stables. All downstairs rooms are level and accessible and the furniture provided in other rooms is moveable.

Gardens

There is a lawned garden area and patio in each of the barns which are on one level and accessible (various surfaces). Tables and chairs are provided for outdoor seating arrangements.

Additional Information

The barns have fire alarm systems using an electronic alert. Please advise if you require specific requirements upon making your reservation and we will endeavour to help if we can.
